Jared had a weekend of rest, no therapies scheduled on Saturday or Sunday, but he did get some visitors! Thank you to Jarel, Leah and Kraft for making the trek out to Dallas to hang with Jared for a couple hours today. Jared got to see Leah and her baby belly just before baby Pelayo comes in a couple days. My Aunt Sylvia who is one of Jared's biggest cheerleaders next to my mom and sister came to play cards with Jared as well. Jared's mom Betty came out and gave him a much needed haircut.
Now the BIG ASK, Jared has a very important part of his journey tomorrow...Swallow Study. We are praying that his brain and body are ready to swallow on his own and hopefully move on to the next step of eating and drinking!
We are so proud of the progress he is making at BIR, and excited to see what this week has to come in his therapy sessions!
